March 4th - Santa Fe Pizza

HACKED Part 2...
So this morning I got an e-mail from the Facebook Security people saying that apparently my hijacked chat situation is nothing new.  There have been a lot of instances of accounts being broken into and these cybercriminals asking family and friends for money.   Rule # 689:  Don't give money to anyone: friends, family, or strangers!

So, for your fun and enjoyment, I am releasing the transcript of the chat between the Cybercriminal Mark and Marissa (Brian's niece).   Good thinking on Marissa's part in keeping a log of this.  Here it is..word for word (including incorrect grammar, obviously Cybercriminal Mark doesn't have a grasp on the English language):

Mark
Hi
how are you?

Marissa
Lol i'm tired

Mark
not good here
In some kind of mess

Marissa

Mark

Marissa

Mark

Mark

It was a brutal experience but thank God my life was spared and I still have my passport

Marissa

Marissa

Mark

Mark

Marissa

did you ask my sister?

Mark
haven't asked anyone

Marissa
maybe she could help though

Mark
is she online?
have you found any western union shop closer to you?

THE END!!

Wow Cybercriminal Mark is so helpful in giving the web address of the western union after being mugged and hit in the head the night before.  No offense Marissa, but I would be calling either my parents or Brian and not chatting on Facebook if this really did happen.  FYI Marissa doesn't have a sister...pretty smart girl!!

The thing that ticks me off is people can do this kind of stuff and there are no repercussions.  No one gets caught, no one gets jail time, and I get inconveinenced.   Damn you Cybercriminal Mark!  I am asking that you tell everyone you know with facebook about this situation.  At least if we can't catch these cybercriminals, we can spread the word so no one gets duped.  Protect your passwords and your facebook friends!!!

THE RECIPE

Ingredients:
Pizza Dough: $0.99
Cheddar Cheese:  $1.79
Chicken: Had
Cumin: Had
Red Onion: $0.79
Frozen corn $1.19
Cilantro: $0.59
Jalapeno: $0.33
Salsa: $2.19

Total: $7.87

I decided to go with the Trader Joes pizza dough that you can buy in the refridgerated case for 99 cents.  First it's whole wheat and doesn't contain weird preservatives.  Second, Boboli costs $4.  Third, nothing is better than a freshly baked pizza!  Plus, at 99 cents it's totally worth not dirtying up my kitchen aid mixer and dough hook.  Hey, I'm allowed to be lazy once in a while!!

The Results

Fast:  The Trader Joe's dough has to sit out at room temp for 20 minutes.  It bakes (15 minutes) about the same as the recipe (13 minutes).  Prep should take you no more than 5 to 8 minutes.  Rolling it out takes about 2 minutes.  So you're looking at a max of 45 minutes for pizza using premade dough.  Not bad for fresh baked.  If you follow the recipe and use a purchased fully baked thin pizza crust, this will take you 25 minutes max.

Easy:  Handling the premade dough is pretty simple.  If you want to get fancy, you can try throwing it around in the air.  You can't do that with a purchased fully baked thin pizza crust!  The rest is chop and throw together.

Fresh:  Very very fresh.  The corn, cilantro, jalepeno, and salsa work really well together.

Overall:  This recipe turned out a lot better than I thought.  The lack of a real sauce for this pizza was a little concerning.  But, I really didn't notice it.  The salsa worked well on top.  I'd probably spice up the chicken a little next time.  This is a great alternative to a traditional pizza.  Definitely give it a try if you want to be adventurous.

I don't understand tomorrow's recipe.  I wonder if there was some sort of mistake in putting this calendar together.  Let me sleep on it and we'll discuss tomorrow.

This happened to a friend of mine too! The same story too - the bad guy imposter messaged another friend saying he was stranded in london after being robbed, and needed $.

Another reason I don't have FB.

Anyway, can't wait to try the pizza!
